The M1 Garand is used during the New York levels, you first get one after linking up with US Army
troops. You can get it again when you try to rescue General Donnelly from the Nazis. The front sight is too high in aim down sight mode, and the game has no model for an empty en-bloc clip, meaning the rifle ejects a full one once the ammunition is expended.
