New York City is the most populous city in the world and the first in America to feel the full force of Nazi aggression.

History Edit

Founded in 1624 as New Amsterdam by the Dutch, this colony soon fell under British control, due to being seeded after the Second Anglo-Dutch War, this allowed New York to grow larger and larger under british control, until independence was given to America on July 4th, 1776.

By the 1920's, New York took the place of London, as the most Urbanised city in the world, as the population in the metropolitan area was above 10 million, making it the worlds first megacity. New York went on to become the most famous city in the world, for not only it's culture, but for it's skyscrapers, like the Empire State Building.

In Turning Point: Fall of Liberty Edit

In Turning Point, New York, is the setting of the first campaign, and is seen being destroyed by German bombers, while most skyscrapers were still under construction, and the bombing runs reached their fanale, when the top of the Crysler building, fell to the ground, destroying the streets below.
