Flag of the Greater German Reich

The Third Reich or Nazi Germany as it is called is the most powerful government in the world of Turning Point. By 1953, it was officially known as the Greater German Reich, having conquered the entire European continent, the United Kingdom of Great Britain, the Middle East, the western portion of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and the east coast of the United States. The German Reich's allies are Italy and the Empire of Japan, in which they provided aid and materiel for their conquest of Africa and Asia.

The goal of the Greater German Reich is to rid the world of all Jews and replace it with the Aryans as the Master Race. Once this is done, the Reich intends to carve out the world for Germany, Italy, and Japan.

After Adolf Hitler became both Chancellor and President of the Weimar Republic in Germany, He ended the electoral system, re-armed the Wehrmacht, and sent troops into the demilitarized Rhineland region, overturning the Treaty of Versailles. In the years leading up to the World War Two, he annexed Austria, and Sudetenland, an area of Czechoslovakia (which he later annexed completely) which many Germans lived.

Adolf Hitler's forces invaded Poland on September 1, 1939, France and Great Britain declared war, but after a large Blitzkrieg campaign, he enveloped Denmark, The Netherlands, Belgium and France by 1940, which led to Britian's surrender, and the end of the war in Europe. Later that year, he directed his armies to conquer the Middle East, which happened soon afterward.

In 1941, Germany invaded the USSR (the Soviet Union) from the conquered territory in Europe, and north from the Middle East. After only weeks of fighting, and the capture of Stalingrad, the Soviet Union surrendered in September. Germany's allies gained power from its successes, as Japan, using gained oil from Germanys’ control over the Middle East and Russia strengthened its position in Asia. In the post-war years, all of Europe was assimilated into the Greater German Reich, during which, Germany, having some of the world's best engineers, researched into weapons of war, giving its allies the technology to expand, to become greater powers.

By 1953, Germany invaded the isolationist United States, but after a few days, the east coast (the shores facing the Atlantic) were occupied by German forces, afterward a puppet government was formed, but failed to keep the peace as civilian insurgents were fighting back against their occupiers.
